The concept

The individual sand cores are removed from the customer-provided core shooters by the operator using a hoist and transferred to the assembly line. The sand core packages are then assembled step by step.

Between the manual workstations, robots engrave, glue, screw, and finish the sand cores, an perform the final assembly of the upper lower sand cores. The sand cores also pass through microwaves and drying ovens.

After the sand core assembly has been completed, the sand cores are transferred to the core storage facility.

Using offline programming in Fill’s Cybernetics Studio, type setups, or the preparation and adaption of process steps, can be carried out parallel to ongoing operations.
