PRE-DEBURRING STATION

The drifting machine
The PRE-DEBURRING STATION from Fill is a robust machine for steel castings and forgings, adapted to the harsh foundry environment. Openings (e.g. valve seats, intake and exhaust ports) are opened automatically with hammers and pre-deburring tools, while the core sand inside the component is broken up.

The concept
After the components have been fed into the PRE-DEBURRING STATION manually or automatically, they are pre-deburred on four sides by multiple hammers fitted with deburring tools.
At the same, the hammer energy introduced into the component is used to break up the core sand in the component, so this can subsequently be shaken out. The mounting is adpated as required to the component.
The Fill PRE-DEBURRING STATION can be operated, as required, either as a standalone machine or in combination with several machines.
