The motivation for the development of FILL STUDIO was to address concerns from customers about the variety of software tools needed for the operation of legacy NDT Systems.
The application and kinematics independent approach of FILL targets to create a convenient und efficient UX based on a generic UI user interface. This “easy-to-use” principle has been proven in more than 50 installations globally as a very efficient way to operate complex inspection systems.
The concept
Abstracting the complexity of the particular inspection process, but also from multi axes kinematic systems, drives the development of FILL STUDIO. The lack of qualified staff in the industry has been addressed with intuitive workflows for specific processes. Although the system as itself is very complex, it can be maintained and operated without specialists.
Creating independence from sub-suppliers is another driver in the ongoing development of FILL STUDIO. All interfaces are following open standards and are non-proprietary – thus, the customer is able to reduce dependency on the system supplier.
From an ultrasonic perspective FILL STUDIO can work with:
- Any UT pulser / receiver
- Any OLP (offline programming) system
- Any UT evaluation tool
- Any kinematics
As an integrator, we can easily implement new modalities in our open architecture.
