The double casting place
The Fill DOUBLE CASTING PLACE is a highly flexible robotic casting cell requiring a minimum of space for the casting of aluminum parts using the gravitiy casting, tilt casting or rotacast casting method.
The concept
The casting machines are supplied with molten metal by a robot located under the steel structure. Core insertion and part removal are performed automatically by two robots positioned above the casting robot.
The media technology for the two casting stations is located immediately to the side of the casting machines.
The following work steps can be performed fully automatically:
- Core feeding
- Insertion of the individual cores or core packages
- Pouring of the molten aluminum
- Casting removal
- Casting discharge
