The concept
Depending on the requirements, sand cores or casting screens are placed in the mold manually or fully automated.
When the pressure is applied, in the furnace chamber and in the die space, the molten metal rises through a riser pipe from the holding into the die, where it solidifies. The die opens and the casting is ejected.
The castings are removed fully automatically from the casting machines and, depending on customer requirements, transferred to subsequent processes, such as cooling and raw part processing.
