The COOLING BASIN from Fill serves to cool castings after the casting process. It guarantees controlled cooling and is designed ti fulfill the demands of the rugged environment in the foundry world.
The concept
Hot castings are placed onto the part-specific holders. The castings are lowered into the water tank and cooled by circulating water. After immersion, the castings can be removed again. Two lifting arms operate independently of one another to reduce the cycle time for cooling
