The rock star among aluminum saws
Together with our partner Briganto GmbH, we have developed an aluminum plate saw that is designed solely for cutting aluminum and thus for the specific needs of the aluminum industry.
THE PLATE SAW
The concept
The material is placed onto the handling tables in front of the saw. The positioning carriage transports the material to the cutting position. The synchronous drive, with an absolute measuring system on both sides, guarantees maximum dimensional and parallel cutting accuracy.
Once the pressure beam is on top of the material, the saw blade is automatically lifted. Up/down positioning of the pressure beam is done with electric drive. Pneumatic operated pins, which are installed in the pressure beam, compensate for material thickness and flatness tolerances. As a secondary function, the pins hold the material firmly on the last cut. Two independent, electric operated aligner bars align the material with an automatic controlled torque against the squaring rail. Swarf generated during the saw ingress into the material or the face cut is removed with a patented traveling extraction hood unit.
The easy-to-use interface allows for quick and simple learning for all. The machine controls include a data library, which suggests cutting recipes and sets all relevant material and tools specific cutting parameters on selection. The animated interface shows the operator all the following steps on the touchscreen and thus guides him through production.
