The concept

With CNC ACCUBOT robot technology providing the kinematics, as well as extruders and extrusion tools adapted to the requirements, 3D printing can be granted additional degrees of freedom. 

Options such as automatic nozzle changing, filament feed into the melt area with integrated cutting system, strand preheating, strand cooling and consolidation, as well as temperature monitoring of the laid strand, permit new ways of thinking in the design of printed components. 

If required, a second robot can be integrated for positioning inserts or for processing printed structures. A heated rotary table with integrated assembly space temperature control acts as a construction platform.
