On 30 September and 1 October 2011 the Upper Austrian machine engineering company, Fill, hosted two open days at the company site in Gurten, Austria. The reason for this was to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the family-run company. The high-tech company has developed into an international technology leader in machine and plant engineering since its foundation as a two-man operation in 1966. The many interested parties were given an insight into the technological world at Fill, the excellent apprentice training in six trades was presented, factory tours were carried out, and a diverse event program was on offer.
