Fill Machine Engineering impresses with its high-tech automation solutions at the “JEC Composites Show 2011”.
Product highlights at the Fill exhibition stand in Pavilion 1 R74 from 29 - 31 March, 2011 were the "Preformliner" former, the "Efficiency Control Cockpit" plant information system and the "Ultra Sonic Inspection Linear" ultrasonic inspection system. “Trade visitors to the JEC were able to see for themselves how compatible highly technical demands are with durability and sustainability,” reports CEO Andreas Fill.
Paris / Gurten, 31 March 2011 – The Austrian machine engineering company Fill´s appearance at the leading international trade fair "JEC Composites Show" from 29 - 31 March, 2011 in Paris was a resounding success. The cutting-edge, "made in Austria" technology impressed plenty of trade visitors, customers and partners alike. Fill Machine Engineering is pursuing a strategy of continuous growth in international markets and supplies tailor-made complete solutions from the preforming process to ultrasonic inspection. "We provide complete process chains in the field of composites, from fiber & preforming, to forming & machining and testing," explains Wilhelm Rupertsberger, Manager of the Fill Plastics Competence Center.
Competent and efficient
The "Preformliner" former allows 2-dimensional parts to be transformed into a customer-defined, 3-dimensional free form (3-D) in a reliable, fully automatic process. What distinguishes the innovative machine is short cycle times, high repeatability, low-warpage textile handling, and high-precision introduction of heat into the textile. Fill´s IT-supported tool for data acquisition, storage, and evaluation of production systems, the "Efficiency Control Cockpit", also caused quite a sensation. The intelligent tool guarantees the highest levels of process efficiency and production reliability. Testing provides security. The "Ultra Sonic Inspection Linear" system is guided precisely by the kinematics from Fill to the workpiece position to be inspected. Interfaces to standard CAD systems facilitate time-saving and cost-effective production of inspection programs and optimize quality assurance.
Fill Machine Engineering is pursuing a policy of consistent growth. The Austrian high-tech company intends to expand its product portfolio even further in future. "Our production systems are used for manufacturing many automotive production parts out of polyurethane and composites.
