To the heroes and legends of Fill
Small snowflakes dancing from the sky. Fields, forest and meadows are lightly sugared. The smell of mulled wine and punch is in the air. Christmas sounds of brass and a crackling fire.
On Friday, December 2, 2022, the perfect atmosphere prevails at the Loryhof for Fill's traditional Advent celebration. An opportunity to toast long-time employees, the "Fill Legends."
"Thank God, it's Christmas. Thank God, it's Advent Celebration". With these somewhat modified words from the British cult band Queen, Andreas Fill welcomes around 700 employees and retirees to the Christmas-decorated Loryhof in Wippenham. Traditionally, on the first Friday in Advent, a toast is raised there to the year, the successes and the workforce.
On this evening, the focus is particularly on the jubilarians who have been part of the large Fill family for 20 years and more. In total, they have been with the company for 850 years. An impressive number that makes owner Andreas Fill particularly proud, and rightly so: "Even if the first doubts about the existence of the Christ Child came to me at the age of six or seven, the belief in Christmas has always remained. And today's celebration is an occasion to highlight Fill's many heroes and legends - I'm very proud of you!"
After the official part, the Loryhof crew serves the usual excellent delicacies, providing the right base for a long party night. There is partying and dancing in the bar until the early hours of the morning. The ideal conclusion after twelve hours of Advent celebrations are a freshly prepared egg dish and the "Seiterl to go".
