When it comes to sustainable, efficient and digital production, Fill is one of the best in Austria.
The coveted “Factory of the Year 2026” award was presented on 24 June as part of the 2026 Industry Congress at Pichlarn Castle. During the hearing before a jury of experts, our management team made a strong impression and secured the ‘Smart Factory 2026’ category win.
“This success is down to the entire Fill team, who are constantly driving the further development of our company forward with innovative ideas and great commitment. Together, we are making Fill even smarter,” said the two managing directors, Günter Redhammer (COO) and Alois Wiesinger (CTO), expressing their delight at the fantastic award.
Through the “Factory Competition”, Industriemagazin and Fraunhofer are putting outstanding manufacturing companies in the spotlight. Fill took up the challenge for the first time this year and made it into the final shortlist straight away. The award was preceded by a comprehensive on-site audit of the company’s processes and approaches.
