"Early Christmas present" for the BTF Fill
December 12, 2024: The 26 members of the Fill company fire department have been eagerly awaiting this day.
Blue lights and sirens can be heard from afar as Elias Gruber and Michael Wilhelm from BTF Fill drive into the company premises in the new emergency vehicle. Here they are welcomed by their colleagues from the company fire department, the management and representatives of the state fire brigade command and the municipality of Gurten.
The new emergency vehicle offers numerous advantages: The BTF Fill can reach all locations on the company premises even faster. The so-called small logistics equipment vehicle (KRF-L) has a double cabin, which also makes it possible to transport the crew. Another highlight is the individual loading and unloading option using trolleys, which were specially manufactured for the new vehicle in the Fill training workshop.
BTF Fill recently moved to its new location in Hall 10. Centrally located, it offers sufficient space for the KRF-L, the trolleys, the equipment for disaster control and the entire team.
These strategic investments and the reorganization of the Fill company fire department ensure that fire protection and safety are guaranteed throughout the company premises in the long term.
