Next World Factory

Learning for the world of tomorrow

While children and young people playfully experience technology and develop their talents in the Future Lab, the Next World Factory is setting new standards in the promotion of apprentices.

Across 180 square meters, six modules such as the Energy Lab, Engineering Lab, Welding Lab, Quality Lab, CNC & E-Technology Lab and Cycle Lab provide apprentices with practical knowledge and in-depth skills in the STEM field.

“We want to give apprentices the opportunity to look beyond their own apprenticeship and get to know different technical areas so that they are optimally prepared for their professional future.”

One example of this is the team-based design and production of an e-car model. Participants also learn the basics of sustainability and renewable energies. The Next World Factory is not only available to the company's own apprentices, but also offers other companies in the region the opportunity to support their junior staff. The first workshops will start soon.

The Next World Factory was opened at Fill's Gurten site on December 17, 2024, and was attended by Upper Austrian Chamber of Labor President Andreas Stangl as well as representatives from education, the press and interest groups.
