Students from four Innviertel HTLs impressed with inventiveness and team spirit at the first Fill Hackathon from December 14 to 16, 2022.
A total of 40 students from the HTLs Andorf, Ried, Braunau and Grieskirchen demonstrated their wealth of ideas in five mixed teams of eight students each. As part of the mechatronic challenge, they had to solve tricky tasks in the areas of construction, 3D printing, automation and programming.
The cross-discipline and cross-HTL challenge made the Fill Hackathon unique. The task was to work together with other students, learn from each other, and complete a project together under time pressure. Fill provided a laboratory environment with 3D printers, all tools and various utensils for each team, as well as "expert coaches".
The projects and solutions developed were presented in the Fill Future Dome on December 16, 2022, in front of around 150 classmates, teachers, and Fill employees. The project of the fourth team stood out from the multitude of interesting and often unconventional solutions. The students in this team were delighted to receive vouchers from Weberzeile. In addition, the best groups of 2 per discipline were chosen and won a 3D printer.
Many thanks to all the helpers who made it possible for the first Fill Hackathon to go off so well and for us to give numerous HTL students a great insight into our company.
We are already looking forward to the next Fill Hackathon in 2023! Let's hack. Design. 3D Print. Automate. Have fun!
