"Ski production technology is the area in which Fill has grown up. Without ski machines, our company would not be what it is today," says a delighted Andreas Fill about the successful development of the past decades.
A special milestone in this success story is the 1000th ski production machine. A base sanding machine that was built for the customer Head. This joyous occasion was celebrated on 3 April 2024 in the presence of Robert Brugger (Ski Production Manager, Head Sport GmbH), company founder Josef Fill and the entire Fill Ski team. Numerous former employees, who have made a significant contribution to the company's success in the past, were also invited and enjoyed the spontaneous meeting.
Fill has been developing and supplying system technology for more than 50 years - from individual components to ready-to-sell skis or snowboards. The technology has always been adapted to market requirements. Fill systems are characterised by their robustness and the associated long service life. Today, the company counts all well-known ski manufacturers among its customers, who produce around 3.5 million pairs of alpine skis, 1.5 million pairs of cross-country skis and 0.9 million snowboards every year. Every skier in the world, from amateur athletes to racers, skis from the first to the last turn on skis manufactured on Fill equipment.
