Manuel Hargassner is the new head of the sales office in Puebla.
At the beginning of May, there was a change in general management at Fill Mexico: Manuel Hargassner took over as head of the sales office in Puebla, succeeding Hubert Baumann. Together with his wife, Ximena Hernández Sandoval, he has relocated from the Innviertel region to Mexico - a move that combines both professional and personal changes.
“For me, this change means not only new responsibilities but also the opportunity to actively help shape the future development of our location,” said Hargassner. The transition is taking place in close coordination with his predecessor. Hubert Baumann is currently still assisting with the handover, sharing his many years of experience and helping to further strengthen existing customer relationships. Joint visits to key customers ensure continuity and reinforce confidence in future collaboration. Baumann’s return to Austria is scheduled for September.
There has also been a personnel change in the administrative department: Ximena Hernández Sandoval has taken on the role of Administration Manager. In this position, she brings her extensive knowledge of the local culture, language, and mindset to the table.
Puebla is not unfamiliar territory for the couple: While Ximena has returned to her hometown, Manuel has immersed himself in a new cultural and professional environment. “This combination made the move particularly meaningful and exciting for us,” they both emphasize.
The region around Puebla is one of the most economically dynamic in Mexico and is strongly influenced by international industry - particularly the automotive and supplier sectors. This creates an attractive environment for Fill Mexico to further expand its market position and serve local customers even more directly.
As General Manager, Manuel Hargassner sees his primary task as combining the successful “Fill DNA” from Gurten with the requirements of the Mexican market. “Fill Mexico is intended to be an active part of the Fill Group - close to customers, closely networked with headquarters, and underpinned by a shared understanding,” he explains. A particular focus is on intensive collaboration with the teams in Austria. Clear processes, continuous communication, and mutual trust are key factors for the success of international locations.
