Bruno Prentner took over as Head of Production on April 1, 2023.
Bruno (48) is a good example of what an apprenticeship at Fill can lead to. He began his professional career in 1989 with a machine mechanic apprenticeship. After completing the program, he gained valuable experience on installation assignments in Austria and abroad and took responsibility for his team as the assembly team leader.
Bruno passed the master craftsman's examination and switched to design engineering in 2000, where he worked as a team leader in metal machining technology and in project management. Since 2014, the father of three has also held the post of employee works council representative.
Now it was "back to the roots" again for Bruno, who took over from his former apprentice trainer, Engelbert Gurtner, as Head of Production on April 1. Engelbert will take his well-deserved retirement at the end of 2023.
The new head of division believes the biggest challenges for the future will lie in enhancing the production processes and in the further automation of the company's own production. Bruno Prentner has extensive expertise in the field of design engineering and years of experience as an assembly team leader. This makes him perfectly equipped for the important position of Head of Production.
