Innviertel dumpling meets hamburger

Fill Machine Engineering continues to expand. Subsidiary established in the USA.

Fill officially founded its subsidiary Fill USA, Inc. in Detroit, Michigan on February 22, 2021. Alongside Fill China in Shanghai and Fill Mexico in Puebla, this is the third international sales and service subsidiary of the Innviertel machine builders. The fourth subsidiary was then established recently in the form of Boost Automation GmbH in Hornstein, Burgenland. The Upper Austrian machine engineering experts are therefore on track for further expansion.

Gurten, July 14, 2021 – As an “ideas factory” for individual complete solutions, Fill has made an excellent name for itself as a machine and systems expert worldwide. With an export rate of some 90 percent, the company is extremely successful on the international market. “We see great untapped potential in the North American region. Our aim is to exploit this with Fill USA, Inc.,” says Martin Reiter, who is responsible for the US subsidiary in his role as CEO (President). As a first step, the new subsidiary will expedite the sales of SYNCROMILL machining centers and act as a hub for projects from the other Fill Competence Centers. “This engagement in North America is aimed at acquiring new customers and further strengthening the company’s market position. The first employees will begin their work at the US subsidiary in mid-2021,” reports Martin Reiter.

Cooperation with experienced partner
Fill USA, Inc. is located in a suburb of Detroit, the former “Motor City”, in the state of Michigan, where the newly established company collaborates with its partner Alfing. Alfing will support Fill primarily with selling machines from the Metal Machining Technology Competence Center (SYNCROMILL machining centers). In future, the intention is for Fill USA, Inc. to form the basis for further projects from the other Fill competence centers (Casting Technology, Plastics, Wood, Profile Technology, Service). Thanks to its excellent market contacts, Alfing will act as a “door opener” for new Fill projects in North America. The acting Area Sales Manager for Fill is Gustavo Galoppi. He has many years’ experience in the American market. The two companies – Fill USA, Inc. and Alfing – are based in the same building, which will allow collaboration to be even more intensive.
