“I chose an apprenticeship as a mechatronics engineer, because I have always been fascinated by how mechanics and electronics interact. It didn’t take long for me to decide on Fill. The company is very innovative and forward-looking, and it does everything possible for its employees and their wellbeing. From having its own gym, through to various events such as the company skiing trip or joint sports activities. The working day at my company is extremely varied, because we almost only build custom machines. There is no shortage of exciting challenges that we have to overcome.
Whether it’s assembling and setting up a guide rail for a high-tech robot, or installing and fitting the hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components for a production system: life as a Fill apprentice is never boring, and there’s always plenty to keep us busy.”
Matthias, MECHATRONICS ENGINEER
“I have enjoyed my mechatronics apprenticeship from the very beginning, as each day brings new challenges. During the 3.5-year program, you are learning things all the time and getting to know different areas of the company. What I appreciate above all is Fill’s commitment to helping us develop, whether by attending vocational college or combining an apprenticeship with the Higher School Certificate.
