E-MOTIONS

CHALLENGES, OPPORTUNITIES AND THE POTENTIAL OF ELECTROMOBILITY


The long-term trend of sensible resource use is increasingly influencing the design, production, and utilization of the entire environment in which we live.

At the same time, the intention is for vehicle electrification to play a decisive role in meeting individual mobility requirements in urban areas. In spite of ambitious political targets and national development programs, this has thus far been unsuccessful in making a widespread impression. Social acceptance problems are often cited as reasons here, as is the potentially still inadequate state of relevant technology.

  • What can intelligent lightweight construction with new materials and manufacturing processes contribute?
  • Which drive concepts are currently being employed and developed?
  • How can the required energy be stored?
  • What does this mean for the supply infrastructure?


Precisely these issues will be addressed by experienced specialists from the world of research in four technical lectures by the end of this year.
