Diploma thesis for HTL: Test bench for determining the wear resistance of 3D-printed materials (tribometer or pin-on-disc)
Initial situation:
When it comes to the materials used by Fill in the field of 3D printing, the design department is constantly asked about the wear behavior of the respective materials.
Since the material manufacturers do not provide any relevant values and Fill also has only limited experience in this area, a test procedure is to be defined and the necessary equipment developed. In addition, the materials used are to be tested and the results evaluated.
Task definition:
- Research and definition of the most suitable test method
- Construction of the test device
- Assembly and commissioning of the device
- Conducting the tests
- Evaluation and interpretation of the test results
