Artificial intelligence is already part of our everyday lives and a wide variety of problems and tasks can be solved with it. In robotics, however, research is still in its infancy. Reinforcement learning can be used to train networks that make it possible to control robots and solve real-world problems.

For the training you create your own simulation environment and a robot in which it can learn to solve its tasks. You work with the latest machine learning algorithms and develop them further. With high-performance computers, there are no limits to your creativity in this project and you get an insight into a highly technologized special mechanical engineering company.

Task:

  • Familiarization with artificial intelligence, machine learning and reinforcement learning
  • Evaluation and creation of a simulation environment
  • Programming and testing of reinforcement learning agents
  • Identification of application areas and testing

Your profile:

  • Ongoing studies at a university of applied sciences/university
  • Motivation & reliability
