THE PRINCIPLE

2 robots are used in this type of system. An operator places the braiding core manually into the intended fixture. A robot takes the core from here and the braiding process begins.

As soon as the component is sufficiently prebraided, the second robot also grips the part and from now on both robots manipulate the part through the braider. The number of braiding layers varies depending on the type of component.
